In order to enable greater communication between teachers and parents, we have recently purchased four additional school mobile phones. This will mean that teachers will be able to phone you whilst they are working from home. Our teaching team is split up into four different ‘phases’ - Reception, Year 1/2, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6. Each phase will share a mobile phone and safely pass it between themselves. Teachers are looking forward to calling you and having a chat. They will leave a message if you do not answer. You will have until 3pm on that day to return the call should you wish to do so. After 3pm, the phone will be switched off and passed to a different teacher.
The best way of contacting us is still to phone our usual school phone number 01242 512391 or email dunalley@dunalley.gloucs.sch.uk. Messages will be checked on a regular basis and we will continue to make sure that they get to the relevant person.
EXCITING NEWS – Mrs Moss is having a baby!
We are delighted to announce that Mrs Moss is having a baby this summer. We wish her and her husband every happiness at this exciting time. Mrs Moss will be starting her maternity leave on Monday 11th May.
Mrs Raybould will continue to make sure that all of our Year 2 families are provided with a wide range of home learning ideas whilst school is closed. Please be assured that the children of 2M will continue to be taught by an equally kind, caring and skilled teacher should the government decide that schools should open later this term. We will keep you informed of developments.
